These grilled stuffed jalapeno peppers are the perfect appetizer when hosting an outdoor BBQ! Make them ahead of time and when your guests arrive toss them on the grill for a few minutes! They are no muss and a lot of fuss appetizer! Fuss = people are guaranteed to talk about how good they are!
2 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
8 ounces cream cheese
1/3 cup extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 cup green onions, minced
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 garlic clove, minced
14 jalapeno peppers, sliced in half lengthwise (total 28 slices)
1 tablespoon cilantro
1 small tomato, chopped
Combine first 7 ingredients into a medium bowl. Fill jalapeno slices with mixture.
Grill jalapenos peppers for 8 minutes on a low flame. Top with cilantro and chopped tomatoes. Serve immediately.
