You think you can’t make lobster tails at home but you can! This is the perfect stay-at-home date night option when you’re looking to kick it up a notch but not kick up more work for yourself. All in, this elegant dish takes 10 minutes.
4 lobster tails
1 tablespoon of melted butter
1/2 cup of unsalted butter
Cut lobster tails down the center of the shell. Pull out lobster meat and have it set on top of the shell. Brush lobster meat with melted butter and sprinkle with paprika.
In a small saucepan, melt 1/2 cup of unsalted butter over medium heat. Cook for 10 minutes. As the butter melts, skim off the foam that rises to the top. The butter will separate again with a milky sediment at the bottom of the saucepan and a golden liquid on the top. Pour the golden liquid layer aka the clarified butter into small bowls.
Broil lobsters for 7 minutes. Remove and serve with clarified butter.
